Modcloth has several great features in addition to being all around awesome.
One great perk of Modcloth is a lot of customers leave reviews for the clothes, including pictures. I love when reviews include pictures! It really helps to know how the clothes look and feel (according to their review) on real, live people.
Also, if an item is out of stock you can still let Modcloth know that you NEED it, and they re-order based on feedback! I've seen lots of items come back, which is always nice when you've found an item you love! On most sites when it's gone, it's gone.Returns and exchanges are really easy with Modcloth. As I said earlier, their customer service is amazing. You can give them a call and you'll reach a person who is happy to answer all of your questions. Returns for a full refund is 30 days, the only draw back is that they need to receive it by the 30 day mark. If you give them a call they will help you out with that. After 30 days you can get store credit, but once it's been too long (I think over 60 days), the credit is subject to a 50% restocking fee. That part sucks, but I did return a dress several months after receiving it because I realized I would never ever wear it and would rather have 50% store credit (especially when I have items on my wishlist!) than nothing at all. Modcloth also produces a shipping label for you, so all you have to do is shove the box in a USPS mailbox! Easy peasey.
Here are the dresses I've bought:
